Strongpoint is joining the Netwrix family! Details and Customer FAQs

Big news — we’re joining the Netwrix family! We’re very excited to announce that we are joining forces with Netwrix, a cyber security company that makes compliance and data security easy for businesses. 

We are very excited about this acquisition, but we know our customers may have some questions.  We've prepared this FAQs to answer the most frequent questions regarding this change you may have. 

What is occurring between Netwrix and Strongpoint? 

Netwrix has acquired Strongpoint. While the deal has officially closed, it is being announced publicly on January 28, 2021. Strongpoint has become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Netwrix, but will operate as an independent unit. The combined company is owned by leading private equity firm TA Associates.

Why has Netwrix acquired Strongpoint? 

This is a strategic step for Netwrix towards extending its portfolio to offer compliance services for Oracle NetSuite and Salesforce in the future. This is an exciting shift for both companies as it accelerates our ability to meet the increased privacy and compliance demands on our organizations worldwide.

What are the financial details or the acquisition? 

Financial details of the acquisition are not being disclosed. 

What are the benefits to Strongpoint customers?

This acquisition is really the best of both worlds for Strongpoint and our customers. We’ll be able to continue to do what we have been doing to support our customers and partners. And, at the same time, we'll now be able to leverage the resources of a global enterprise software company such as Netwrix to grow our business.

What will happen to the company and product brands? 

For the foreseeable future, both companies will continue to operate as separate, standalone brands, with the exception that Strongpoint will be known as “Strongpoint, now part of Netwrix.”  Strongpoint will continue to develop and support its products as well as serve its customers, prospects and partners. Strongpoint will leverage Netwrix expertise to grow their business further.

Who will lead the company going forward? 

Mark Walker will continue to lead Strongpoint.

How does this affect the product roadmaps?

In the foreseeable future this acquisition has no impact on product roadmaps.

Where will I get information or support for my products?

Our commitment to servicing and supporting our customers does not change. Strongpoint customers will continue to receive the high-quality customer service they receive today through the systems and resources they currently use.  

Will there be any changes to contracts or vendor/payment details?

No, there will be no changes.
